And the Oscar goes too...Lupita Nyong'o

Have you ever been so in awe of someone's talents that words just do not do them justice. Well, this is how we feel about Lupita Nyong'o. This talented actress has made such an impact on the world it's unspeakable. Every time she graces the red carpet you can expect her to be dressed and styled to perfection and the Oscars were no different. 

As she stepped on the red carpet in a custom powder blue Prada gown she was deemed the "bell of the Oscars"! 

The highlight of the night came when Lupita gave her acceptance speak after winning supporting actress for 12 years a Slave. Lupita's speech was so heart-felt and moving. She said one statement that will be the quote of the year:

No matter were you are from your dreams are valid." 

 She gave hope to a generation with that one statement. As darker women of color we know the constant struggles and sterotypes associated with having dark skin. Lupita's presence in this industry is shattering any stereotype that may exist. 

As she continues to let her beauty radiant inside and out, we pray that God continues to use her story to inspire other young ladies.
